Ultra reliable and comfortable cruiser but not a performance bike. Can be pushed a bit on corners in the dry
low maintenance bike which i would not like to part with
faults: foot regually gets ripped off the footrest by the road when over banking on steep corners.Brakes could be better and speedo is badly positioned.rev counter would be nice.

Yamaha XVS Drag Star

I've had the bike for over a year. In that time i've done 10,000 miles. The bike looks and handles like a much bigger bike with a deep sounding V-twin motor.

It's fairly simple to work on so most of the work can be done by you to keep running costs down.

I can get about 100 miles on £6 of fuel, parts are nice and cheap and easy to get hold of. Highway Hawk also do lots of add on parts like custom wing mirrors and other chromed parts.

I'm new to bikes and being 25 years old I didnt want to learn on a small bike so a learner legal custom cruiser suits me fine. I bought a brand new 06 model and I love it. Being new I'm still breaking it in but it just keeps getting better.

A brill bike and I love it. Will hate to see it go next year - its the best. I love the reaction I get and how people think its a 650. It's not bad on speed for a 17 year old and that I think is enough 4 me. Plus its not designed to go 90 cos it's a (cruising machine) Anyway, I hope u take my advice if you are thinkin about buyin 1. I love it, I think u will too

Well... 6 months 5,000 miles 2 major services.. spit and polish now and again. It's a learner cruiser with big looks and style... but alas the v-twin mill is a 13hp mill powering 144kg lump (without me on it) 70mpg/150mile tank range. It's just a simple run around with big cruiser looks, at just over 7 feet long and 3 feet wide bars, tis big, reasonably cheap to insure, but I think its time I moved on to bigger things

Good bike, great looks and nice to drive. Good riding position and nippy enough for a 125 with a big frame.
