We have had this bike 2 years and have hardly used it due to having a baby so we are selling for a genuine reason we just do not have time to use it and it is such a good bike to sit in the garage being wasted . The bike has full service history,it is in excellent condition and there has only been one other owner from new .
The ride of the bike is fantatic especially for the pillion passenger it is very comfortable.

I've had the Honda VFR400 NC30 for around 3 months after 3yrs on the Cagiva Mito 125 and what a step up!.I found it easy to ride around town and the power delivery on the open road(Motorway espcially)Is unbelievable for an old bike! The handling is a dream and the confidence in riding a higher powered bike has grown immensely. The bike has been looked after pretty well and is in standard condition with a Scorpion exhaust.I will be giving it a body makeover but keeping the sandard bodywork ect will keep this Legendary bike up there with the Lengends of racing Heroes in my books!.I would reccomend this as a great first proper big bike and most've the ones forsale have been looked after with minimal miles and for less than half the price of a new 125!I paid £1'300 for mine.

These NC30's are a cracking little bike, they are phenomenal on twisty roads or on a track day. You can have fun going under bigger bike in the corners, and they will reach speeds of 140mph, great for the young riders to gain experience on for litte outlay, you have a little pocket rocket!!!!

The FM model was my steed. A beautiful, well researched piece of design engineering with exceptionally high build quality.

Reading the history on this model claims that Honda really had to over compensate to regain reputation that had been lost with the VF's unreliability.
The FM was even sold at a loss to start with. Reputation above production expense it seemed.

The new bullet proof engine (that had given a despatch rider aquaintence nearly 200,000 miles of neglectful use,) came with gear driven cams and bucket shims inside the buckets so valve gaps were'nt of urgent concern, plus no cam chain slack causing constant tensioner adjustments or need for replacement.

I could get 54mpg on a long run, and comfort? was gooooooood not only because of the seat but also for the superbly balanced suspension. Some bike journalists say the VFR750 is still arguably the best road bike ever made with one write up about a challange against a GSXR1100 around our green and pleasant rural runs. The Honda's smoooth operation winning the day due to ably keeping the front wheel down and eyeballs staying in focus.

So what are its faults? Well to be honest 2 of minor issue. Don't count on the fuel tap for reserve. Driving around town (Brighton with its traffic light after traffic light after traffic light)causes a lot of slop that continues to feed the carbs. But hey! its beautiful clock console (One of the main buying points for me)has an accurate fuel guage.
The second? keep the back tyre pumped up above 30psi. It'll have a heavy effect on the steering if below, and you got it I did spend time on the head bearings like a baffoon.

The web reads and of course the hours of direct hands on pleasure has clearly confirmed for me that this bikes category of sports tourer king is truely the case,it IS the regarded future classic worthy of respect and yes definately money well spent.

What a beautiful sports tourer. This is a bike that can do everything well. Although long in the tooth now and it can't boast the horsepower of some of the latest machines at 100bhp and 150mph top speed it can still run with the best of today's machines. It has the sweetest V4 engine that Honda ever produced on a road bike. It pulls from 3,000rpm up to 11,500 like a train. The sound is quite and subdued at low revs and wouldn't wake children if you drove through a nursery but take it up to 7,000 and it starts to scream like a banshee. And still it pulls. It is an engine made for fun but without any dips in the power delivery. The steering is sure and safe at the highest lean angles. Michelin Pilot 2 tyres are brilliant on it wet or dry. The finish is superior to any of the other big manufacturers. I cannot fault this bike and I have had a range of bikes over many years. I can tour Europe or go scratching with any modern machine without being embarrassed. Brakes are superb without being over the top. I am 6ft 1" and I can ride all day without wrist or back problems, or a numb bum. My only criticism is the 19 litre fuel tank is a bit small but the later ones are 21 liter so a bit better. Not as mad as many of today's machines but so well designed it is a joy ever time you ride it.

The NC24 is much cheeper than the later NC30, cosmetic differances are the single headlight and slimmer tyres, but don`t be put off by this, the road holding is excellent. With 60bhp and a honda V4 the sound and power of this little machine is perfect to have fun on and keep up with the big boys. I have reached 115 mph which is tops as I am only 8stone but what you lose on the straight you can gain on the bends! Service parts are still readily available, I have owned mine for 3 years and it is very reliable. A real pocket rocket that any biker can afford!

Ride and handling improved, power slightly up although power delivery is different due to the VTEC. Pulls strongly at low rpm and then when you hit 7000 you get a surge of power and an awesome sound from the air box. All round a new bike with many of the good parts of its predecessor combined with many improvements. A MUST HAVE !!

mental littlle pocket rocket- steers and wheelies with the best of em(hav to be very unsympathetic with the clutch)-very reliable but keep an eye on the regulator and stator coil- id recommend changing the fork oil for heavier stuff due to a bouncy front end-great bike if you are new to the track or just want to piss off born agains with new gsxr1000s and matching leathers!!!!!!!!!
