Absolutely fantastic bike! Nice to ride on the road even with knobblys on! 110% reliable rfvc engine, cheap easily available parts, good for 70/75 mph! Little bit on the heavy side but they are solidly and very well built. Starts first kick most times even when hot. Great cheap green-laner.

A small persons point of view ...
I found the XLR125 to be a comfortable and reliable motorbike. During the short time I owned one (about 6 months due to it being stolen) I managed to add about 4 thousand miles to the clock and can say it was 4 thousand miles of trouble free motoring.
Top speed was 65mph (70 if it was in a good mood), petrol consumption was good - I never got the chance to test it accurately but I think it did about 80 or 90 to the gallon. The riding position I thought was comfortable, although I cant help thinking they could have made the seat a little bit thicker. I`m 5`3" and did have to get the bike lowered slightly. I`m also not the strongest of people so found it to be a little heavy (even if it was only a 125). I suppose they have to make them heavy for safety reasons. All in all though if I had got the chance to keep the bike for longer I am confident that it would have given me years of trouble free motoring, a nice little (not literally!) motorbike.
