My Rossi rep is brilliant. I am 18 yrs old and I bought this bike (T Reg) over a year ago it was bought from private but very low milage about 900miles for 1700 quids, cheap, eh! The only drawback is the parts which take about one or two months to obtain! Start 1st time everyday even in winter! Course my bike is full powered and I always piss boyracers off cos my bike outrun them every time :)! You may hear problems about engine blowing up - that depends on the rider. If you ride smoothly and sensibly then the engine will last. I have ridden my bike to France and Belgium, no problem, and reached 115mph on French motorway with luggaue attached! The only mod I want for my bike is a new Arrow exhaust, thats all! I will keep my RS 125 for other 2 0r 3 yrs. I'll be shippin my bike over to Florida soon as I will be studyin at a university in Florida! Lookin forward to ride my bike under the sunshine all the year around :)! Also lookin forward to reg my bike in Florida (After 3 mths period) so I can change my British plate to Smaller Floridain licence plate! Don't British motorcycle plates suck! All other countries seems to have smaller plates! Take care while ridin on RS125 and you will be fine, ride stupidly then it will cost ya!

She's a beauty. Rides like a dream. Handles wonderfully. I have had 112 out of it (the top rated speed, although in 6th, it is doing 12k5 revs). Fully standard (for the time being anyway)...Feel free to get in touch

I think it could do with one more gear I highly recomend dunlop redeem tyre on I have had mine fully race tuned and put a race system and a steering damper on it and droped the forks 5mm. I can fault it for what it is about the only thing that needs changing is the brake pads for kevlar ones

Hello all guys, writing from a small country in Asia. I had been riding my 96 replica for over four years. The bike will be reliable if u run in well for the first 500km, use only full synthetic 2T oil, set one step richer in your main jet, clean your power value every 1000Km and ride with the correct gear, The bike will run well and your will have the full control of your bike. The front fork is weak for racing, fork inner tube wore-off in two year time and start leaking. The rear shock has short-life, wore-off in 1 yr time and start leaking. The solution is get someone make valving in your fork, get a WP rear shock for your rear, fix up a steering damper and your bike will feed back your properly. Need more power and control, change to arrow racing chamber, increase the compress ratio from 12.5 to 13.5, change your carb to 39mm Kehin racing carb, smooth out your porting and your will gain about 5 ~ 6 bhp at your rear wheel. Add in one set of Marchesini wheels, convert it to 428 chain and spocket and add in a steering damper, ride with clear mind and feel your bike, you will be safe and having fun. i.e. parts indeed expensive and lack in back-up at information of the bike and good racing parts like front fork, wheels, spocket selection, good body works, steering damper, brake caliper convertion bracket and etc support. Aprilia need to consider about all this or else more people will lost confidence at the bike and the company.

Although I personally think that the Aprilia RS is a much better looking bike that the NSR and Mito, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. I want a bike with looks and speed. And prepared to take the risk with the parts and reliability. Each bike has its pro's and its con's its just individual opinion which set of pro's & con's suit you.. For me, it has to be the Aprilia. Take care, ALL you bike riders, Mito, NSR and RS..

Had mine since new.I have to say that they are reliable to a point. Always warm them up (1-2 miles), run them in PROPERLY!. Check the powervalve every 3000km,they carbon up and stick. If u want the power to last do all the above and change the rings every 5000km. Do all that and you'll have the best laugh of your life. great motor (little fragile), brilliant handling, brakes are good but HH pads give loads more feel and response. If its tankslapping a lot check your fork seals. 20,000 kms later its still going well without shitting its main bearings. If the engine starts knocking get it checked straight away. If anyone tells you their Mito does 115mph, just look back and wave.
