Gilera Runner
175cc

Overall Rating:
Review
This scooter is so fast. It is the 2 stroke version and will pull around 95mph and I weigh around 15 stone - doesn't feel safe at this speed though. It is a great little bike good fuel economy, can slip through trafic easily, has room under seat for crash helmet and maybe a bottle of 2 stroke oil. The only thing I found was when the bike was idling the plastics vibrated and squeaked and that the fuel tank wasn't big enough. Good bike on motorways. Buy one

Good for newbies and commuters but can be boring for a longer journey. Fun around bends but lacks power to be really fun. De-restricted adds a twist and is must have. Brakes go a bit quick and tend to be a bit spongy.<
>Overall a good bike for nipping around town and avoiding rush hour. Handles well around corners and goes well downhill or flat roads (Avg. 55 mph). If you got a long journey ahead of you then get a bigger bike.

Have had the bike for 2 weeks and done about 150 miles. I love the four stroke engine. It's smooth and gets to 50mph with no trouble at all. I won't push the engine any harder for another couple of weeks so she can have a good run in. A real head turner and looks better than my old Runner SP. A piece of advice to all you youngsters out there! Don't try to turn the bike using the handlebars too much. Combine a small turn with a proper bike style lean, otherwise there's a good chance you'll end up in a ditch! It's a sports scooter/bike hybrid after all! Ride it like a poser, smoothley. I'll post again when I've run her in.

The Gilera DNA-50 is a very fun and sporty bike, the thing that lets it down is its speed, but in the looks department is doesnt fail. I have a GPR50 as well as the DNA, but the DNA comes out on top.

I got the Gilera DNA 125 about 3 weeks ago, its a nice little run around, and I have got 75mph out of it. The looks of the bike/scooter are 10/10 I have had people asking me where did I get it from!! I have never seen any thing like it.

Only been riding on the road for 2 days. Only dissopointment is the speed, but I'm only 16 so ne higher wud be illegal. When I'm 17 I want to get it destricted and try and get speeds of 60mph. Any advice how to do this?? Please! and how much money/hard work?

I THINK THE GILERA 125 SCOOTER IS 1 OF THE FASTEST SCOOTERS AROUND JUST AS STANDARD. I HAVE THE FX VERSION (2-STROKE) IT DID BOUT 70MPH WHEN I BOUGHT IT THEN I DROPPED KUNDO RACE PIPE AND DIFFERENT ROLLERS AND BOOST BOTTLE. NOW IT'S GOT EVEN BETTER PULLING POWER AND IT DOES NEARLY 77MPH NOW I RECOMMEND THIS SCOOTER TO ANYONE.

This bike is wicked. It is the fastest! It's really lively around town. If you're having problems with the spark plugs in the rain, cover the outside of them in WD40 (the rubber bits not the spark plug!"!!) and it should stop cuttin out. Also if the speedo is collecting water, rub some vasaline around the seals. Nice one - enjoy the bike in any weather
