economical, easy to handle and totally reliable.
small enough to fit anywhere around town, nippy enough to keep with the traffic.must remember to put a gallon of petrol in most months.

the clunky gear change is normal and is minimised by opening the throttle sligtly while holding the gear selecter down, it will enfage much more smoothly when it engages upon release. these are fantastic bikes that will run forever with a little care, watch out for corrosion inside the wheel rims as tubes can blowout suddenly, as i found to my cost.

I've only had this bike for a couple of months but I love it already.
There are all sorts of issues compared to my Suzuki GSXR 1000 but they all add to the fun.
My three biggest problems are the almost non-existant brakes, the lack of power especially on hills and changing down gear it seems really jerky, hardly anyone else ever mentions it in reviews and I'm wondering if it's my bike or my gear changing technique

this is a truly indestructable bike real easy to maintain bad points are lack of top speed that you can remedy with a 17 tooth front sprocket and a squidgy feel to the rear suspension that you can put right with cg125 rear shocks and also get rid of the cheap jap tyres makes a big diffrence too

I collect these bikes. They are the best things I own. Only problem is they rot out on the rear end (sand down the metal where all the water and dirt flicks up and apply lots of under seal) Run them on good oil and they last forever

This bike is the best. I had a Honda c70 and they can just do absolooty everything you want them to. I have just bought myself a honda c90 and it has good top end but I've got some problems as it wont tick over - just idleing issues. I wont sell this bike as they are just invincible.

This bike is the best thing I've ever ridden and I've had a good selection of bikes since I was 16 and they have all ended up in bits or scrapped. I never wanted one until I saw the purple helmets in the Isle of Man.. I bought mine for 250 quid and thrashed the living daylights out it. I once got to Skegness from Sheffield on 4 pounds and averaged 46.8 miles per hour for 92.25 miles - now if that didn't kill it I don't know what will. Although I only spent 4 quid on peterol I did wear out both foot peg rubbers and the soles off my shoes before I got there; so it ended up more expensive than I anticipated. If anybody laughs at this bike it's because they haven't ridden one. I will never get rid of this bike "I love it more than my girlfriend".

I own a 1996 model and use it in the forest. It will do 55mph if you thrash the hell out of it. It has a 3 speed semi auto gearbox with a very low first gear which is ideal for wheelies, burnouts, hills e.t.c
The best thing about it though is the fact that it just WONT BREAK!! these things are practically indistructable- no wonder it was voted the best bike in the world!
