This bike is brilliant for your first bike. I know 60mph is tops but when your learning , its all you need!!!! Never had a problem with it!! Dont be put of from bad reviews as this bike is great for learning on. For those who want more speed that own this bike. ( WHY DIDNT YOU READ THE REVIEWS ON THIS BIKE BEFORE BUYING IT!!!) : )

good little bike for commuting as mpg is around 80 for me handles the bad aberdonian weather in its stride and can be pushed quite far into corners good tyres get a good grip of the road and its more than manouverable enough to nip through traffic , i think its the perfect beginners bike , so much so im giving it to my girlfriend when she passes her cbt as its now time for me to get a big enough engine to pull 18 stone uphill , in all a very good little runner that will not disapoint

I'm only 14 and this is my first bike. I think its great for learning on. Its top speed is about 65mph and it also accelarates quickly, considering its weight, but its a really easy bike to handle.

The City Fly is the worst bike I have ever owned. I had a yamaha YP before the CLR and it was better and faster. If you are riding into a moderate wind you will only get 60kph out of it and finding your self dropping gears not that that even helps somethimes. Flat out it will do 90 kph to 95kph and at 90kph it is screaming, as soon as it hits a hill your down to 80 which is bad. The YP125 did 120kph no problem and its a scooter. The bike is sadly slow . I have had it 3 months and already had problems with it. It loses power when flat out which is very annoying and im not the only person who says that. If you have to drive on any motorways or roads that require you to drive at 60mph this bike is not for you. If you live in the city then yes you could own one. I'm selling mine next week for a 250cc and can't wait to get rid of it.

Had this bike for about a month now from new. The acceleration is pretty good for the power, but top speed is a bit slow- 65 with a wind behind you. Also it takes ages to warm up, does look and sound good though. It great fun as long as you dont go on the open road.

I'm 17 and this is my first bike and its great, not the fastest thing on the road but nice and sturdy. Top speed - you're looking around 65mph and down a hill with some wind and its more like 70mph. It's a pain when its cold but once warmed up its tip top. Great lights and brakes nice height and good in heavy traffic. I would recommend this to all learners.

I bought the CLR to use for travelling to work and it serves that purpose well. Very good up the gears to about 50 mph but 60 is about your lot! Compared to the CG125 it is far superior. Would recommend this bike as a pass your test bike or for travelling to work.

My first bike (I'm 19) all in all very nice for a 125, miles better than a CG125. Not so good speed wise (about 60) but what do you expect for a bike of this kind.
