A strange but fun bike I had a Import one and the first time i took it out i scared myself as i zoomed of down the road and hit 55 a big red light came on so i killed everthing and coasted to the kerb. Although a VF to ride it well you rode like a 2 stroke with lots of revs great fun with the smmothness of a VF.

This bike is a beauty. The baby Magna has everything that it's big 750 brother has, but somehow looks even nicer. A tough looking cruiser. Small enough to be compact but big enough to look the part. The 498cc V4 has plenty of low down torque, loads to give in the middle and you'd better hold tight over 6000 rpm. This bike'll do whatever you want - commuting: no problem. Touring - a doddle. Two's up: easy. Racing - you better believe it. There aint another 20 year old 500 around that can keep up with the V30 magna. If you see one - buy it!

Had one of these years ago, spent 4 years doing 120 miles + per day, no probs except flat back tyres (I hate road debris). Liked it so much I've just got another! Brakes needed sorting out at design stage so don't expect it to stop, but it handles so well you can normally get round most situations. Looks great due to the 4 pipes but the collector tends to rust if not kept reasonably clean. Would I recommend it? Yes, as long as you are not 6ft+ as riding position suited to small people. Tends to suprise sports bike riders as it's really rapid (due to the VF750 race engine Honda fitted). Forget touring unless you know someone to build a rack/sissy bar unit but who really cares.....it's a blast. Try one, you'll see what I mean !!
