A fantastic bike and real surprise to me. I bought it only for practical reasons and it brings a huge grin to my face every time I ride it.

Economy: I have done 500 miles so far and am still running it in, but am getting 142 MPG right now. Amazing!! 500 miles does not seem much, but on a bike like this, nearly every journey is less than 5 miles - so it adds up to a lot of journeys.

Honda have ruled the roost for this type of machine and Suzuki are really trying hard with this bike. There are lots of little things that make you feel good: the well designed double helmet lock, the reasonable under seat storage, the little engine guard, the attractive looks and very well matched top box, the comfortable seat (for pillions too), the way you can go straight from 4th gear to neutral, the gear indicator, the key mechanism.

I guess there are other things too, but it leaves you feeling that Suzuki have tried really hard, and then it is £300 cheaper than the Honda.

The engine is tuned for economy, and so don't expect a high performing one. It is very good through the revs.

The gearbox is opposite from a bike one, so watch out!

The leg protection is o.k.

There is a lot of chrome. I think ACF50 is the best protector. If it protects aircraft, then it should do well for a bike and it really does for this one.

I know the chain guard is not cool - but it really saves work, especially when riding in winter.

This bike is so easy to slice through traffic jams. Manouvers easily.
