Suzuki VL1500 Intruder
I owned a VL1500LC for three years and I have to say it was great fun, always got noticed and people would want to know all about it.
The downside is, as with a lot of Suzuki bikes, the build quality, not the best and the chrome started pitting after a couple of winters, also servicing is a pain to do at home - loads of panels to come off to do anything.
Riding was great, even long trips, the seats are like armchairs and with a low seat height, both tall and short riders will be happy.
It is a very heavy bike and to move it around takes some doing, the engine is great with plenty of grunt and with aftermarket pipes sounds the biz and the bolt on bling is endless, even better/cheaper if ordered from the USA.
One thing I would add is, before you buy one, think about the colour first, the VL comes in some nasty looking choices, mine was red and white and looked stunning, there is also a grey and black, black and white, all look fine but the yellow and white ones and some of the other very light colours don't look so good, but that's only my opinion.
Anyway if you want a big cruser that pulls like a train, the VL1500LC is your bike, just keep it serviced and clean and it will do you proud and lady will love to sit on the back so you can ride for hours. Enjoy. Rog.

Suzuki VL125 Intruder
Best looking 125 cruiser by miles, bullet proof V-twin engine just sounds mint.
Loads of torque its the ultimate 125, get one you will not be disapointed.

Had the chance to get on this one when looking after it for a mate.
Lovely machine if you like chrome and leather. Ride for 1 hour then clean it for 2.
Good handling for a shorty like me with the low seat.
Not brilliant on fuel but not a guzzler either.
Plenty of poke to boot.
Bad points..... Manual choke.
The gear shift seized up which i am told is common.
The road debris gets baked on by the engine heat, not too bad but really inconvenient.
Other than that an ok machine.

Traded my Deauville in for this. I have a bad back and this is so easy to ride being so low. Weighs nothing at low speed and easy to use. Really comfortable on a run. Brakes are not briliant but do the job. Can't say what it's like two up as I haven't tried yet.
In summary a lovely looker(coz you can pose on it). A really good equivelant if you can't afford the likes of a Harley etc.Go on you know you want to!

Just an excellent bike; low; comfortable; cool.
Gives the impression of being on the 800cc model, yet on a 125cc budget. Big bike looks - on a 125 bike.
Loads of miles for your £1 of petrol; easy and cheap to service; cheap to both tax and insure.
Far better riding position that some of the other 125s (CBR, TZR, XR, etc) and because of the seating / riding position you always feel in control.
It's V-Twin engine gives it loads more power than most 125's making it a very nippy bike, able to cruise along with the best of them.
For my money its the ideal learner machine!

I have found this bike very enjoyable and easy to handle, from a womans point of view its light and can easily be moved due to its low centre of gravity, only draw back is the speed, not a bike if your looking for "bombing" up the motorways, will definitely get another custom bike when the time comes.

Good looking cruiser with stacks of chrome and always mistaken for a Harley D. Styled like a 1936 Indian but with a modern bike underneath. It has all the good stuff like electronic fuel injection with sensors everywhere, shaft drive, 4 valves per cylinder, liquid cooled with profiled radiator and air fins so it looks like air cooled. Even the frame looks rigid but it has rear suspension with 5 adjustable heights. Big clock speedo on the tank and great floorboards with tell tales for leaning too far. V twin has balance shaft to reduce vibration (steady mirrors) Big back tyre with even bigger mud guard. Single disc on front but has two piston set up . Mechanical drum brake on back. When you get into top (5) gear you can cruise along and accelerate well without dropping down gears. Mine is solo reg and I have had it for 5 months and 8000k. Light when moving but can be a bit twitching at low starting and stopping speeds. Great bike for an old fart like me. Does most anything you want a cruiser to do and does it well. Great price, head turner, and you can feel the grunt. I forgot the seat - it is a whopper but it still took some getting used to. The more I ride it the better it gets.
