Had my Freewind for a year now, a bit dubious initially, but very satisfied. A hoot round town, and comfy on open road. I love surprising sportsbike riders on the twisties with nifty overtakes heheheheh! Ignore the cynics, try one out is my advice

Bought mine secondhand 5 years ago on and R reg. Build quality excellent - still looks brand new apart from some minor scuffs. Got 16k on now. Acceleration is strong up to 90 and handles excellent in twisties. Fitted acerbis hanguards and no more cold hands. Fairing effective at speed. seen 107 on clock which is good for any big single. Engine very smooth with only pleasant vibes. Rode a mates thundercat and the xf felt like an armchair tractor next to it. Although more speed would be nice the bike does all I ask of it and raises smiles when shortshifting and bendswinging. More than happy with it.
