Suzuki SV650
Suzuki SV650 Sport. Sports bike. Faired. V engined. 650. Ronseal bike. Does what it says on the tin.

Everything works, barring perhaps the visual appearance of the rear LED lights, which seem to have landed from another styling planet, but that's subjective. Sporty, but not very, position. Handles well, but not drastically. Pulls well, but actually seems happier as an autobahn basher where protection is pretty good, nothing seems too over-worked and all the component parts seem happy to keep up. V-twin engine may not be to everyone's liking: it never sounds like it's really going anywhere in a hurry, it doesn't have enough cubes to have a really useful midrange, and off throttle it snatches at the rear wheel like an anchor crying "slipper clutch" please. But that isn't the point. Yes, it's slightly crude, slightly vibey, but just look at what it costs, or rather doesn't cost!

Big kicks per buck. Free restriction. A perfect first big(ish) sporty(ish) bike?

Suzuki GSF Bandit 650cc Sept '06 (56)

Suzuki GSF650 Bandit
My first real bike after my test and a long period of fun Vespa Scooter-dom.
My mates all told me to take the bargain Bandit on offer but I wanted to say no, it was a boring obvious choice - even an SV650 surely.......So glad I caved in to the nagging.
It is so calm round town, clutch always feels in control. Comfortable - even for 5'8" me - and though heavy-ish at standstill it never feels less than balanced on the road.
This is fun when I let rip, though I still have 40% of the power left to play with when I feel confident.
Thanks mates - this will keep me well happy for 2 years++

Suzuki LTZ250

An excellent quad, very reliable, good ground clearance, does what it says on the box.
Only bad points are that this quad is shaft driven so not as easy as changing a sprocket to change gearing plus you can't fit the axle spacers which widen the quad for extra stability for the more nervie rider.
Top speed of this bike is (as standard)aprox 55mph so not the white knuckle ride of the bigger quads.

Suzuki GZ Maruader 125cc Apr '07 (07)

Suzuki GZ125 Marauder

I bought this bike new one year ago and done 4500km on her. Its a great bike to learn on and commute to work.
It has to be the most comfortable 125 available. It has a large soft leather seat that I can sit in all day and foot forward controls for a relaxed ride.

As with all cruisers it doesn't like corners too well, but with practice you'll soon be racing around the bends.

Shes a big beast for a 125 and is more sturdy to ride than a smaller bike (eg Honda CG).It's great for distance traveling on smaller roads, and capable of decent speed (70mph) on large ones.

I have been on many adventures over the past year and loved every moment sitting in my 'armchair with wheels'.
I'm now looking to sell her for a larger bike, but will miis it dearly. In conclusion; its a great bike if you want style and comfort.

Best looking 125 cruiser by miles, bullet proof V-twin engine just sounds mint.
Loads of torque its the ultimate 125, get one you will not be disapointed.
