Stay well away from this bike ... its horrible ..its a gutless 2 stroke that has no poke.. no pull power and is prone to oil leaks and hates the cold!

Had the battery draining problem, howerver after cleaning battery terminals abd reattaching the earth under the tank (which is just like the ZX400R import the one with the hoses on tank. as it stops your bike from starting up again). After that the only problems were with making sure all bolts are extrememly tight as its a revvy lil machine and loves to pop em off whenever you give it a chance. Arrows exhaust system seems much nicer than the tin of beans that are standard. Am gonna polish/galvanise the swing arm, new powder coating on wheels, am looking for race colour schemes for the 95 as I think the PSone scheme makes it seem well dated. know any good pics or sites for decals then feel free to email, else want to go for a burn...feel free to email

I bought this bike after having an RS50, and trust me when I tell u this...... they are the best 125's around. Looks, ride-ability and speed come as standard with this. The bike can get a bit uncomfortable to ride long distances, but then again, so are most bikes! With regards to the looks, it certainly turns heads of people in cars, people on the street and the fit birds that I seem 2 find when I'm on it. The best thing I've found is that it will beat most cars up2 a 1.4i -I had a race with a 2.0 tdi Golf - which my m8 was driving, and it seemed 2 fly past that, but then again it is a desiel... I think the best thing with these bikes is when ur cruising along and u get the nod from other bikers. Also when u see a chav in a bad in his 1.2SR Nova that drives like a bellend, go up next 2 him and rev, most likely he's going to rev his car. When the lights go, floor the bike ( not to the extent where ur gona filp it ) to the extent where u get a decent pull away, and I bet he wont be able 2 catch you! Easily the best bike I've riden, and they don't moan either ;)

Had this bike about 4 months now. I had been riding a 50cc scooter for 3 years but decided I wanted a proper bike. Rather than restrict a 400 and kill myself, I thought it wise to learn on a 125. I wanted a sports and looked at and RS125 and Mito. The Mito is far better looking and has more class, and its rarer so keeps its value more. However, ever since I've had it, it's been a pain in the arse. Tht is when it goes IT GOES. Unfortunatly a lot of the time it doesn't. The battery is forever draining. I'm now on my 3rd battery after less than 4 months. There is a HUGE flat spot at about 9,000-10,000 rpm. I'm not de-restricting it because I'd rather have the warrenty after some of the trouble I've had with reliability. It handles incredibly well and feels stable round twisty roads. Other than that flat spot the performance is very good (considering its only a 125) and top end of about a 100mph. I'm now looking to sell this bike and move up to something like a 400 or 500.

Hi Guys, here for a bit of advice. I love the Mito - bloody gorgeous but I've heard a few stories about the battery/electrics etc. I'm weighing up the 2001 model - is that a good model or can you recommend other year models from the Mito range?
Please help! Thanks

Safe riding guys

Thanks, but can you put quick questions like this on the forum - Steve

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help me, I am 17, and after selling my 50 I want a 125 as I love going out on bikes especially now summer isnt far off :) BUT i DONT want to get a heap of problems. I have a car aswell so can only afford to pay up to 1500ish (obviously second hand) for bike and insurance fees too. I like the Caviga Mito 125's they look a real big bike and I feel the right size on one too. Are they fast and is there anything better out there??
thanks Ste

A deresricted mito evo may get trough engine parts at about every 6000 miles but has got to be one of the best motorcycling experiences ever. I have a GSXR600 now which is a different ball game but I used to leave 600's on the corners on my mito and they are the best looking bike on earth being designed by tamberini who did the 916.

These bikes are tricky to repair and the parts are hard to come by but for fun factor and beginning puposes 10/10. Its still fast enough to put a smile on your face everytime you've finished riding it for the day. I need a manual myself so if anyone comes by one can yu email me it @ Keen3h@hotmail.com
