I just recently got my GPR and what a fantastic deal!! I've had it race tuned, de-restricted and am about to put a performance pipe on it. On average I can get 70mph, and down a slope 75mph.

You're all gonna say I'm lying, but with a race exhaust, 72cc kit and different sprockets, plus a km-mph converter so u can read the speed properly in mph, 80mph is possible downhill. Just takes ages to get there with s**t acceleration cos of sprockets. Great bike, but electric start keeps breaking for some reason.

I've got a Derbi GPR and it did do 65, and that was with a blocked exhaust, so I've now got a new exhaust but haven't tried it out yet. But overall it looks good and performs brilliant, even with a blocked pipe.

I bought the GPR50R Yuichii Lii race rep, and oh my god its quick. No 50 could keep up with me. Some stupid peds tried to race me but I left them for dust. It's very quick with MK exhaust on and fully de restricted, only prob is I had a crash and need fairing and various other parts for it

Abolute cr*p. Yeah they're fast but at the expense of reliablility. And if you want parts under your "warranty" forget it. Mine's needed a rear shock for 6 months and now its out of warranty and they said as they couldn't get the part I've now got to pay for it. The front brake failed causing me to fall off, the coil broke stopping me in a dual carriageway, the paintjob peels off, the carb came away from the engine. Shall I continue?? Get a four stroke or something japanese

I've just got on the roads with the Derbi and quite impressed with it as it is easy 2 ride and rather light but the power when restricted is'nt so impresive

i just have to say that the derbi GPR has got to be the sh****st 50cc around. The build quality is crap, parts fall off when driving and its as slow as fu** (bout 55mph downhill de-restricted) If you want a decent, reliable and fast bike get a Rieju. they are much better. and graham and stuart you jew boys get a real bike.

Wicked bike I love it. Some do say 70 is possible but mine tops out at 65. I bought it secondhand and was delighted to find some days late that my bike had a two NEON lights under it that shone red. This bike is so nang. the best 50 on the road no doubt/ RS50 lot can get lost !!!!!! DERBI (wicked)
