This bike is the dogs b****ks when it comes to 50cc bikes. I have just recently bought a gpr and have reached 72mph in the countryside downhill. It easily beat my mates RS50 and left him for dust!

Well, at age 15 I had a GPR and they are the best bike to have. At 16 I crashed it and wrote it off so had to buy a bike waiting for insurance money so I got a Rieju RS1 which even with a sports exhaust. Against my Derbi (standard but de restricted) it is a lot slower and noisier. My mate has an RS50 which is brand new and slower in acceration and doesnt sound as good. Derbi is about 5 mph faster on the flat - about 68 where as the RS50 is maybe 60-65 and 70 downhill (Derbi 75 downhill) This is about speed yes and if this is what you want buy the Derbi. Tho I had to buy some new fairings etc and they are highly priced and the people at Derbi are highly un caring and say they have sent things off when they havent and having to wait weeks and weeks

This bike is the dogs. 70mph at 11,500 rpm and still climing it handles like nothing else on the planet. If you havent got one get one. I can't wait to fing a very long road and hit 14,000 rpm. hopfully blow the engine in style.

Class bike, I've got the 75cc big bore and the 21 carb as well as a full arrows race system and k&N airfilter, goes off the clock so around 80mph on flat and I could go faster with a smaller rear sprocket. nxt step is having the port polished by Stan Stephens.

The only problem I have is the clutch locks up after not being used for 24 hours - u have to rock the bike forward & backwards whilst in gear with the clutch pulled in. It's fast as **** (for a 50) and would recommend it to anyone. I've almost had my knee down after 2 months!

YOU MUST READ!!!! (though it is slightly long)When I was 15, and looking for something to ride I though why be a wannabe bike and get a 50cc sport bike, and was just gonna settle for a scooter, but one day my dad took me to a Derbi dealership and after sitting on a GPR I fell in love with it, and bought it. I did my cbt on the bike which is good in one respect as learn to ride it, (though I was already used to gears), but when you are new to ride a sport bike it can be difficult to take tight turns slowly. I rode the bike for the full 600 miles restricted then had it de-restricted. The first 3 day of having it un-restricted are the best 3 of your life. The bike has a hell of a lot of pick up, and easily beat RS50's and scooters. I was putting the bike in for minor repair after face planting the ground due to not paying attention and sharp brakes(which it does have!), when at the garage where I bought it I decided to invest in a sport exhaust which is fully recommened as it adds that extra kick to the power band. Overall my bike restricted did 35mph on flat at 6.5Krpm, unrestricted did 65-70mph at 10.5Krpm pushing it but not redlining it, and the power band kicked in at about the late 6.8k. The sport exhaust at a costly
