Honda NSR 125cc 88/89 (F)
Overall Rating:
Review
Bought a red one from the local Honda dealership in 1989 when I was 22.There was nothing else like it at the time and it always got loooks. I used it to commute into work all year round and it never let me down. All I did was wash and polish it. Very competant 125 but slow in restricted form due to restrictor in carb. Always remember trying to avoid the guy on a de-restricted white NSR who used to travel the same way, except quicker. Red plastic mirrors would fade but build quality was very good, fantastic backlit clocks on white dials was impressive. I always used to get a numb left leg after a few miles something which no other sports bike has managed to achieve even an RG125 Gamma. Would give it 10 out 10 if sensibly de-restricted. Still got the original owner's manual and sales literature which I get out and reminicse over every now and again. Shame they never made a larger version of the original NSR(as opposed to the fragile 250 import). Great bike.

Honda ST Pan European 1100cc 93/94 (L)
Overall Rating:
Review
Love the bike , it is a model PP which means it is ex-police to you and me. I purchased it direct from Thames Valley Police with a service card and 48 000 miles on the clock. Engine is sweet and has now covered 63 000 miles , gearbox has a slight noise at 70 mph but it has spent 40 odd thousand miles sitting at this speed. Fitted with a high screen which makes upright touring easy , regular journeys Wales to Scotland with ease and 1 fuel stop. So far I have had to fit new discs to the front and a new exhaust the rest have just been standard service items. Buy One Now

This is quite possibly the best bike I've ridden it's quick enough to have some fun and handles well enough to get you out of most trouble everyone should have a bike like this

Honda VTR 1000cc Sept '01 (51)

this bike is not for riding around town so don't judge it for being poor at that on the open road or on the track it's just A1. the new sp2's are just a little better but is it worth the extra cash ? in the real world you won't notice.

Good looking and quick little 125 screamer. Handles well, but watch out for the front end washing out! not as an accomplished sports bike as an Aprilia RS, but far more durably built and infinately more reliable.

You must buy one of these my mates got one and it made me buy a bike although not as big and quick as the blackbird only a VFR400, But we raced a BMW M5 up some motorway on the way to scotland two up with Full hard luggage. Now considering my mate weights 22 Stone and I weight 11 stone + Hard luggage the bike must have been about 470Kg heavy but FUCK ME!!! 165MPH and it was still going like a freight train we didn't dare go any faster due to the windy weather. Must buy one! Great for touring or going mad, just brilliant at everything and I can even just touch the floor on it at 5.7"
