My first bike after passing DAS due to reviews for quality craftsmanship and reliability. Would definitely recommend to noobies wanting to dive in at a 600.

Awesome! Accessible & easy to tootle round on and filter, with smooth fuelling. Capable of delivering staggering G forces in any direction. Front comes up in 1st 2nd or 3rd if you want it to. Eye-popping braking with just two-fingers, minimal dive from the forks. Scenery-exploding warp-drive available when you want it. Makes you feel on the bike like Kiyonari looks! The tyres (BT015) complement it perfectly and give amazing cornering - what a bike!

Good power, riding position crap for long distance work compared to previous VFR750 but have had it on various tracks and it doesnt actually do a bad job for the size of it and handles quite well.
Great smooth engine and plenty of power, non adjustable suspension lets it down and the headlight is very poor, carbs occasionally need cleaning due leakage when sediment blocks up the needle and seat in the float bowl.
Have ridden the Busa and ZX12 recently and now looking at trading in after five years of ownership, the Busa having an edge in the handling department and the ZX12 in the legroom and comfort side of things.
To anyone checking these out, they arent too bad but try the Kwak and Hayabusa before making a decision.
All offer outstanding power but the comfort/handling side of things does vary between these 3 bikes.
The Kwak despite having a smaller following does appear to have an advantage in both areas, handling and comfort, so might have to go with that one.

Well previously had a wee scooter 2-stroke which was italian (Malgutti firefox f-15) which was good when it went but dat was it, so finally i got myself a cbr 125 4-stroke and i turned 17 a couple of weeks ago and i think it is a brilliant bike it looks fantastic sounds great even my dads friend who has a cbr 1100 blackbird thinks that the cbr 125 has a better note of it an i must agree with him.
It performs well for a 4-stroke i av had bot 75mph along the straights and about 80-82mph down a hill but dats it completly flat out, howerver it is restricted in every way possible- Electronically,mechaniclly... etc. and not many people know how to de-restrict them which is a bit of a bother.

The Hond cbr 125 is the new version of the nsr 125 as they know that with the new euro emissions coming in soon they cant sell the nsr as it was a 2-stroke and gave birth to the cbr 125 4-stroke.... just a bit of know-how on th bike.

I would fully recommended this bike for when you turn 17 as it has a 100% or dam near enough reliability as well as looks, better than aprillia rs 125, mito, nsr, etc....

Hope this has been helpful and i hope you enjoy your biking.

I could ring it's neck without it trying to kill me like the R1 does, however I managed to get my knee down after only 4 weeks of riding, and my peg was getting worn away after another 2 or 3 weeks. In other words, light and fun, gives confidence and sticks to the road (i did have my suspention set up to my body weight and riding type, also had the golden Metzelers on there they stick like excrement to the proverbial blanket)

After getting my peg down around my fav motorway roundabout I managed to get the peg down knee down and elbow down....at the same time as the rest of the bike. *bang* I'm really sad she's gone, but at the end of the day I didn't love her enough. It got 167mph on the clock don the M23 so your looking at a 150mph top speed, and changing your sprokets will give you a few more than that (at the cost of acceleration) Anyway, what a bike, great fun, and best of all it's a honda!!! Won't fall apart like your Suzuki or Yamaha

Good overall bike. Quick acceleration. Top speed of about 180-190 km. Servicing can be difficult as the bike is squashed into a small frame and things are difficult to locate. Fuel consumption isn't great. 200km/full tank.

I am a novice bike rider, flew through the CBT, got the bike and 1 week later just over 225miles....fantastic machine, very easy to ride/learn to ride, looks great and had many admirers at a bike stop on the A4074 (out of Henley!)
Hope to take my Direct Access before October ready for the 600RR
