The Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade needs no introduction, I’m sure you’re all aware of this thing and just what it is capable of. I had my first ride on one the other day and now the only thing I know for certain as that a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade will be stood in my garage as soon as possible, it’s simply stunning to ride.

The Honda CBR1000RR that I rode is one of the latest models (2009) and I never wanted to get off it. The Honda CBR1000RR engine is simply amazing and the acceleration is mind blowing. There is power throughout the rev range and I’ve been told that the Honda CBR1000RR will reach 150mph inside the ¼ mile. I was surprised by the way the Honda CBR1000RR performed on the road, the suspension swallowed up most of the bumps and it was surprisingly comfortable. The Fireblade that I rode had the C-ABS system which is amazing. I can’t comment directly on reliability but it’s a Honda so it’s unlikely to go wrong and the build quality was immense.

After my first ride on the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade I can understand why it is considered the benchmark for the big 1000cc sport bikes. I want one as soon as possible.

The Honda CBR600RR is a fantastic sport bike that is nice and agile but also has plenty of power thanks to the 600cc, 115bhp powerplant. The Honda CBR600RR formed the basis for Honda’s MotoGP bike which should give you some idea of what it is capable of. I sold my 2006 Honda CBR600RR in the end because I wanted something new (Yamaha R1) but I would definitely consider buying another one at some stage because it is amazing fun to ride.

The Honda CBR600RR is one of the most aggressive bikes I’ve ever ridden. You’re not going to get much in the way of equipment or comfort with the Honda CBR600RR on the right road or the track it is simply superb. For regular use on the road, I’ve tried the CBR600F and that is brilliant too but not quite as focussed. Like a lot of Hondas, the Honda CBR600RR should have pretty good reliability.

In my opinion, the Honda CBR600RR is the best of the 600 class sport bikes, mainly because of the extremely high-revving powerplant and the fantastic handling.

Ive had my CBR100F for a while now, Its a great cruiser/tourer
very comfortable and good riding position with 51,000miles on it with a good service history its unburstable....feels really stable at 130 plus unlike my previuos K1100 RS the beeemer wasnt a patch on the CBR. The controls are light and yes I think the heavey front end takes abit of getting used to but its not really a scratcher altough I can push on in the twisties. For a rush I take the VFR800 to work, but theres a different story.........:)

hello

i had a dream:

i have had several cars since passing my test 4 years ago and wanted to know that feeling of ultimate freedom that only a motorbike can give you.

so i sat at my desk at work and made a plan - that plan was to get a honda cbr 4oo and to pass my class a test all in the space of about 6 months.

with a wonderfully supportive family behind me, i managed to make this a reality and am now the proud owner of said bike.

it is a vision in silver and turquoise livery and every possible chance i get to go out and just drive i do. even sitting at my desk at work is now different because i know that not only have i got something to show for it , but that if i put my mind to something, i can make it happen.

i always knew that i would love 2 wheels over 4 but the dream was only half as wonderful as the reality.

the road ahead is thankfully long and i thank god for the wonderful chances and opportunities that i have and for the people who make them come to life.

Great first bike, highly recommended. The Honda Cbr 125 r is a great bike, its sleek, stylish looks attract attention, and so it should. The very light bike is great through corners as the rider is able to throw the bike from corner to corner without any troubles at all. In the wet the bike handles well and obviously with care has no serious problems. So to conclude the Honda Cbr 125 r, is a great bike to introduce an individual to riding, it looks great, low maintenance and its extremely reliable!

I passed my DAS course at the end of July 09 and bought myself a CBR600 F as my very first bike.

I have to say that i couldn't be happier. From what i hear from all bikers i have made an excellent choice to start my biking experience. As a girl the seat is low enough to get my feet nearly all the way on the floor, and i don't find it to heavy. On the first day i bought it home i took my partner out pillion on the back.

I covered over 1000 miles so far and most of it with my partner Liam on the back!!

Not really a technical review but i do love my CBR600 F!!

bought my first bike back in sept 2005 a black and white one, ride the bike every day inc winter about 60 - 70 miles, i started off doing 30/40 40/50 mph to run it in its had full service, now going in for 55,000 miles service. must have spent the same amount of money on the bike just on services. had a few problems on the way wiring loom is one of my worst problems, recently added a 180cc kit and rejetted, k+n filter and two devil exhausts (got someone to make a customize downpipe to spit it in to two pipes) so one exhaust on the right and the other on the left looks more like a 600cc it is extremly loud. bought a single race rear seat panel under tailtidy(no back seat) new swing arm (black), tyres dont last very long no point in buying bridgestones you burn the rubber off them in 3-4 months. waste of money. have red neons in the engine area and going under the tail tidy also bought rainbow eyes and a rear hugger and a rear 150 light unit. probily spent in 4 years on the bike about 3-5 k includes services / panels accessories.

for more info on the cbr here a link http://www.125ccsportsbikes.com/forums

added pictures first one shows rear bought a single race rear seat panel under tailtidy(no back seat)

second one was standard 2005 bike

last pic is of the devil exhaust

I currently own the second of two CBR1000FNs that I have owned. The first being in 1996. I got fed up of having new bikes depreciating in the garage and still being required to pay £50 month insurance. The current bike is Red and Black and had 15k on the clock when I purchased it. I am its third owner. It is a big bike but I am 6'2", and dont find it a problem. It does everything I wish from it, I recently did 450 mile with 3 givi cases in appalling weather without a hitch. Cant say its exciting, but a good reliable workhorse.
