Just bought my second honda x4!!.(that should say it all) better build quality than the vmax and nicer to ride.great road presence and never fails to draw the crowds because of its rarity and big bruiser looks. fantastic reliability, comfort,and tons of oomph to scare you silly. a stonking great torque monster that'll put a huge smile on your face everytime you ride it.only downside they are thirsty if you ride hard. and with a small fuel tank you gotta keep an eye on that handy fuel gauge,.but hey!! every bike has got a downside in some way.a cult bike in germany, lots of cool accessories to bolt on too.

What a looker,Very easy to ride & extremlly comfy.
Had my X4 now for 2 months & my VTR1000 is now feeling rejected. Great solid bike on the open road, but dont buy this bike for touring as it only has a 15litre tank & is very thirsty. Absolutely awesome for round town & open road trips where there is plenty of gas stations.
Gets lots of attention where ever I park it as it is one of only a few imported into New Zealand.

Had my X4 now for three months, it goes like a rocket setting off, and is one of the comfiest bikes I've ever rode. It handles really well for a big bike and I've had quite a few, including a 'max' The CB1300 engine is a powerful beast and a thirsty one at that, but if you don't constantly thrash it everywhere then it's not bad. It'll keep with the sunday morning summer time thrashers and draw a crowd when it gets there.It doesn't pretend to be a plastic harley rip off and it certainly doesn't lurch around at the back of the pack shouting "I'll meet you there".Two up it still handles well, probably because of it's size. I don't know why the japs didn't import it into this country but if they had of done I think it would have quickly gained a cult following as it has in germany.(speedys X4 homepage and the X4 owners club)This bike is the mike tyson of the cruiser scene not the peter fonda so if you want quick and aggressive, bite you if you get too close styling, get an X4, not a 'I'm not quite a harley, but Im trying :( plastic easyrider! !Don't be a I'll get a copy of nut's cos I'm too scared and embarassed to go for the top shelf, type of biker, be a 'LET'S AVE IT' kind and wear them leathers with pride are you a man or a small furry mammal.OOPS ! sorry about that, getting carried away there, must be riding mi X4, it does that to ya ! aargh, aargh, aargh !

Help! I'm a UK serviceman living and working in Naples, Italy and have seen a X4 for sale. It's a '97 needs a bit of TLC and has done 28K. Any ideas on what I would be expected to pay for this in the UK? Any advice would be most welcome.

Had my X4 for a few months now. Awesome performance, but it comes at a price, in the cost of petrol! You can do so much to make them individual. Check out the German owners club site.

The Honda X4 is a great bike its looks are very Mad Max. This bike is a torque monster its a real buzz to ride and will get you noticed. It is also very rare I live in Scotland and I have yet to see another..

After 6 months owership very happy with my X4. Handles nicely, loads of poke and nicely finnished plus a great pose machine! buy one, its a hoot!
