what can i say.....fantastic bike, with lots of value for money, i have upgraded a few parts on my bike, i have added a tinted double bubble screen, hel performance brake lines, armstrong HH race pads, gsxr 750 rear shock, sprayed my rear sets and pillion pegs in black and clear coated them, fitted crash bungs and swing arm protectors, fitted a scorpion titanium exhaust, much better and very very loud, ive also got a seat cowl coming, i have added new rubber, bridgestone battleaxe bt020 tyres, better than the original 45's , added little carbon fibre yoke protector and petrol cap trim, ive also added a 6x5 number plate with a modified fender eliminator, and added mini indicators all round, the bike is very fast for a 650 and easily out runs the sv650 and beats it hands down for looks, for more information on this bike visit the owners club www.korider.com for all your hyosung needs

I have now had my bike since the beginning of the year and despite people stating that it is always breaking down,i would just like to say i have not had any problems at all.The bike is very comfortable to ride, and easily handles pillions.Even with a pillion you can easily attain 100mph (not that i have done this. The performance easily out-performs all other cruisers of equal, and bigger engine sizes. The handling is very good, and i would recommend upgrading the disc pads.I have rode in all weather and have not had any rusting or flaking chrome as other bike forums suggest.Great bike for touring, pulls even with a large load and rider and pillion.Overall a very good bike at a very good price, and now there is a EFI out which adds another 10bhp.

Hyosung GT 125cc Sept '07 (57)

I have the gt 125 r model and this bike looks great to say the least, a proper sports bike look and could pass for a 600 anytime. The bike runs and handles great but with such a big bike for a 125cc engine its speed is not the best.I have replaced the standard can with a blue flame and it does help greatly with the performance. The only major fault with these bikes is the kick stand censor, this makes the bike cut out if you put it into gear with the stand down.I had prods with the comet i had with this but its easy solved by disconecting it and looping it back in.Over all if your look ing for a learner legal bike with big bike looks this is the one to have.

Hyosung Comet 125
I bought my Comet second hand for £850 delivered, which is already a bargain compared to a similar condition RS or CBR!! But on top of that it beats both of them!!
OK maybe not as fast as the RS but its twice the size, this is a proper motorbike, my dads got a 600 Fazer and this is just as big. Being a 4-stroke its not super fast how ever there are now quite a few performance parts out there, you just have to look!!
This is my first bike and is everything I could ever want in a learner bike!!

Hyosung GT125

I own the 125cc version of the GT125R. I have to say this bike is amazin'. Great for commuting and all round every day riding.

This bike is also very comfortable, unlike most sport bikes. The new digi dash is very easy on the eyes and makes it clearer to see when riding.

I had a Scorpion exhaust fitted (no baffle). This makes the bike sound like the 650 version or even a Suzuki SV.

I would highly recommend this bike to any first time buyer or rider.

Hyosung GF 125cc Apr '02 (02)

I have the Hyosung GF 125cc 2002, this bike is fantastic.
I have had her up to 75mph (she still had more to come). It's a fast 125 for overtaking, a very nippy bike .
Very light at 125kg dry.
It has an electric start and a kick start,a manual choke for those cold winter mornings.
A wet multi-plate clutch and a five speed transmission gear box. It has 1 cylinder a side stand and a centre stand.
The motorbike has a fuel tank capacity of 13.7L (3.6/3.0 US/Imp gal) The bike has 140 kmph as the top speed on the clock.
I have never had one single problem with the Hyosung GF it's a perfect bike for a learner as the controls are easy to grasp.
The maintenance and service of the bike is simple and the parts are very cheap. It cost me £15.00 to tax the bike for 12 months and the MOT is around £27.00. Very cheap to insure (£200 per year as a learner). I use the bike to commute to work every day and only fill her up once a month costs £8 or £9 to fill the tank!

overall a good bike with excellent handling, performance, good economy and comfort. Sadly the finish is poor.If you want this bike to remain in pristine condition you,ll spend as much time cleaning it as you will riding it. Even then you fight a losing battle. points of weakness are the mirrors rusting behind the glass, chrome flaking off the foot rests and brake master cyclinder, any bit you miss will quickly rust before your eyes. do not use this bike in winter. and if you buy the back rack, the rear rest and the crash bars they quickly rust as well. only solution is to religiously clean it then cover it from head to toe in a suitable protector like rock oil or A.C.F

The Hyosung GV650 is a very good bike.I have been riding a Honda Shadow for the last three years and find that it does not compare to the Hyosung.
The performance is good, fuel economy is very good, and to date have not had any problems at all.
The looks of the GV650 may not be to everyone's taste but I think it has really broke the mould with regards to the cruiser scene with a sort of Harley V Rod style.
Handling is really spot on and I find it a very comfortable bike to ride with the adjustable foot pegs. The only down side is the lack of aftermarket styling goodies to individualise the bike, but I think as they gain in popularity this will change.

What can i say? Fantastic bike! I've had this bike for just under a year now and had no problems at all. It gets lots of looks, and always draws a crowd. The build quality is good, not as good as some jap bikes, but give it time and I seriously think they will be at the same standard. The bike's main rival is the Suzuki SV650 which Hyosung built parts for under license.

The Hyosung has faster acceleration, and top end, the bike handles very well into the corners, and is very stable at top speed. I've added an aftermarket can, from a ZX6R which is a direct bolt on,the sound is amazing. The bike feels much more alive now and seems to have a bit more go!!!

Genuine and aftermarket parts are not a problem to get either, as the market is growing with each passing month.
Would I buy another???? Yes I would! I'm actually thinking about getting the GT650X, or possibly the GT1200X when it finally arrives.

To summarize, if you buy one of these Hyosungs I guarantee you won't be disapointed, the 2007 models in the UK are totally trouble free. If you're looking at reviews from the 05/06 models then they may be negative as the bikes did have a few problems with valves but rest assured its all been sorted now. Now I've been riding this bike for 2 years now and as far as 125 machines go this is impresive, there's nothing else near it size wise out there, Honda, Yamaha, nothing at all.The price is a little high as you can get chaeper machines than this one but the bike holds its own performance wise with any of them. The engine is great and very reliable and mpg is fantastic. The top end on this bike is a comfortable 70 mph but I have had mine up to 80 mph(down hill with the wind behind me).I've just up graded to the GT125R so its with a sad heart that I let her go but I can't find a single bad point about this bike.
