my first recollection of a quacky was when i was around the age of 9/10yrs, my brother is an enthusiast of kawasaki's, and he would have a kmx 125 laid out on his kitchen floor and i'd see him cleaning and then reassembling it all together and hearing the revs that a beautiful well tuned machine needs to do, its what dreams are made of.

just got one for £50 with a v5 and a mint rolling frame and electrics but needs main bearings crank barrel piston ect but hey for £50 it cant be bad wont take long to fix i cant wait my mates got one for off road and its pretty quick and great to ride

I had a 1988 kmx 125 that had been converted into a motocross bike it was quite good little bike,untill the engine blow.I then went out and bought a 2002 kmx 125 engine(with low mileage),A Full Dep exhust,K'n'N Air & Oil Filters,I then put bigger jets in the carbs,Then a lot of love and care and fine tuning went into it.I then hit the hills like a dog on heat!!!It was insane.I raced a 2002 Yamaha Yz 125(Made him eat my dust lol)I then raced a kawasaki kx 250 (Little boy on a big bike) he had the take off but belive it or not i had the top speed Unbliveable!!! Just before it was crushed i drag race my dad in his BMW 720i at a nearby air filed that was abandoned,Just before the air field finshed my dads speedo quite clearly said 110MPH!!! So there is my story of my old kawasaki Kmx 125 that was crushed on the 21/8/06 R.I.P KMX

Great bike, very fast for a 200cc and a real head turner at the time. It would always do (as per the clock) 95mph, and sometimes faster depending angle of elevation, lateral wind pressure and all the other techy stuff. I last rode this back in 1991, and WANT ANOTHER ONE!!. Still looking. Mind you watch those power valves, they like to be spit out of the engine into the exhaust. A real must for someone who has just passed their test.

Dont know about born again but I sure do feel as though I am 15 again everytime I am out on this thing. Not very subtle and requires a lot of revs to have fun (as with most 2strokers). Stable in corners and back roads plenty of opportunity to get the feet out instead of the knee. Aftermarket pipe boyeson reed assembly and better airflow make for more fun ...... Very good 0-60 speed ( with quick changes). Going through complete rebuild and require a lot of genuine kawa parts- not cheap. Look after those wheels espescially the back one!! they tend to rot right through,... wheel rebuild at hagon for

i have a kmx 125 phillipino import tis dam good fun fOR A 125 YET TOO FIND OTHERS TOO BEAT IT apart from the obvious aprila italian trash best bike i have had that good i have two of the little beast one for on raod and the other for off road great bike!!!!!!!!!!

Did u know that u can put a KMX 200 top end onto a KMX 125 bottom end, then all u have to do is swap the exhaust, cdi unit n carb and the airbox then u have a very potent kmx lol.
