I started "biking"agian after a gap of about 20 years. I wanted a bike with more or less the same look as a mid 80s bike. This one did fit that picture perfect. On top of that she surprised me with good road handling (bridgestone BT020 tires) and a stable frame. The braking, although (more than) sufficient, could be a bit more bighty. I love riding her.

This is a very economical bike; I get over 260 miles per tank. I find it comfortable to ride being over 60 years old I can ride all day without a break. The main problem being numb fingers due to vibration. It can shift when I want it to but I can't see the point in trying to be a boy racer on the road it's a crazy notion for anybody. Can't wait for the summer let's ride.

Unfairly panned! A dynojet kit and sports can has given it a bit of extra go (the bulletproof gpz engine can easily take it). Forks are a bit soft with no adjustment and benefit from fitting progressive springs. But the handling was improved from so so, to 'spirited' by changing to Bridgestone 020s. I regularly commute over 60 miles a day on this bike and although my main bike is a ZX9, I still find this good fun and petrol consumption is a creditable 50+ to the gallon even pushing it fairly hard. A cheap, creditable all rounder that feels lighter than it actually is.
