The best machine I ever driven ! I've change only the transmission and there is no zx9 or r1 that leaves me behind !
6th gear 13.500 !! i love it ! When i reach a corner i look at the end of it and it's done, she turns automatically. if you are looking for a good bike ! the zx7 is that you are looking for. Even better if you get one of the new line (1996 - 2002)

I had been away from motorcycling for about 8 years when i decided to start again. Went through a VTR1000 a Harley 883 (dont talk about it) to a new ZX10R. Was going to buy a Hayabusa but the 0% finance (and green paint) swayed me.
Pros- Blindingly fast (172mph on the speedo, ran out of bottle but still pulling VERY hard), handles like its on rails, not as wild as the previous model till you want it to, sounds awesome, even on standard pipes, looks like its doing a million miles per hour stood still, rarer than the other 1 litre bikes.
Cons- Insurance is VERY steep, tyres last about 1500 miles and cost

I BOUGHT MY BIKE JUNE 97 AND STILL GOT HER I'VE HAD 160 ON THE CLOCK 58MPG, WHAT A BIKE 16 YEARS OLD AND STILL GIVE MOST NEW BIKES A GOOD RUN FOR THEIR MONEY 41000 ON THE CLOCK AND STILL GOIN STRONG NO REAL PROBLEMS TO REPORT.. ME PERSONALLY I CANT FAULT THE H2 AT ALL. GET A FULL MICRON, DYNO STAGE 1 AND A KN FILTER MAKE A BLEEDIN GOOD BIKE BETTER. IF YOU WANT A BIKE TO HAVE A LOAD OF FUN ON BUY ONE OF THESE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED

ANY IDEAS?? WHEN ON A HOT DAY AND MOVING SLOW IN TRAFFIC, BIKE WILL BOG DOWN AND SOMETIMES FLOOD ITSELF. ONCE OPENED UP AGAIN IT IS OK???? HAS A YOSHI CAN ON AND DYNAJET. THIS DOSENT HAPPEN ON A COOL DAY

Always wanted one of these since first seeing that wide front end and intakes that suck up small children - awesome ride - scorpion can which gives it a nice scream and a couple of extra horses - will never sell her as i rekkon they will become sought after especially the minters - cheers

I have owned my 9R for two years now and previous to that lots of other toys, but i find that for a fellow of six foot two and eighteen stone this is the machine to have. A genuine 165mph on the motor way and confidence inspiring handling when just out with the lads. A great screen to hide behind when in the greyhound position, unlike a previous 916 ( felt like a 250 ), and pulses like a train through all the revs to the red line. If you're a big guy like me look for one, mines an S reg and it cost me

I have a 2003 and Kawasaki hit the nail on the head with the 2005. The 2003 was quite the beast, but it's aggressive riding posture was a bit uncomfortable. The 2005 still maintained fit, form, and function, but Kawasaki made the sitting arrangement much more comfortable. The problem is now that I have the 03 and 05, it's not easy to make up my mind on which one to ride!!
