Honda PC Pacific Coast 800cc 97/98 (R)
Overall Rating:
Review
Went on a tour of Europe with this Honda model and the performance blew me away, even by the end of the trip it was still going strong.

The handling on the PC was terrific and factoring in that with the reliability, this is definitely an underrated gem of a bike. Also found it built up speed pretty quickly. It's not the most attractive looking thing, but the purposes of a long journey, the performance and consistency of the PC meant I could easy overlook that. There are more exciting bikes out there, but I found the PC delivers substance over style.

Suzuki Ozark 200cc Sept '04 (54)
Overall Rating:
Review
I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to quadbiking, but had hours of fun on this model. Having ridden relatively few quadbikes, I'm not really in a position to compare this with other similar models, but I've got nothing but good words about the Ozark.

Handling was easy and it has plenty of power for its needs, jumped over terrain with ease. Even those with no previous experience of quadbiking will be able to master the basics on this within a couple of minutes. Great fun all round.

Yamaha Cygnus 125cc Sept '08 (58)
Overall Rating:
Review
My good lady wife recently took delivery of the Yamaha Cygnus, and it's had no problems so far. The design's nice and clean and it offers pretty decent performance compared with some scooters we've had over the years.

Running costs for the Cygnus have also been a real surprise, it's a very efficient model. Storage space has been another major highlight - the Cygnus is great for running little errands around town. All in all, I'd rate this scooter as one of the best models currently available in terms of economy and reliability.

Triumph Scrambler 900cc Sept '06 (56)
Overall Rating:
Review
Go for a Scrambler if you're looking for a bike that harks back to the golden era. I'd echo other comments that this bike is the closest you'll come to feeling like Steve McQueen in his heyday. Even if you're just popping down the shops, you'll still feel like an icon as you zip about on the Scrambler.

Particularly enjoy the raised gearing on this model, makes it a fantastic bike for cruising. Also loved the little design touches given to the Triumph Scrambler, it's clear plenty of thought has gone into providing the ultimate retro-style ride.

Handling great, performance stunning... what more can you ask for?

Honda Zoomer 50cc Sept '04 (54)
Overall Rating:
Review
A good friend of mine has got the Honda Zoomer in yellow and it's a great little runner around town. He's always banging on about how reliable the Zoomer is (I was sceptical) even during the winter months, so I guess even though it's not the best looking bike in the world, it's got something going for it.

Think it would be a great choice for the first time rider, as the handling is excellent. Of course, top speed is an issue with the Honda Zoomer, but if you're only using it to get from one side of town to the other, as with my mate, it's perfectly adequate.
