New Indian Motorcycles
- (16/05/2008)
The New Indian Motorcycle company have just released details of their expected 2009 line up of models. Probably only availabale in the States at first, but if the assembly line does start cranking up, expect a few over her by 2010.
The new 2009 Indian Chief hosts a new 105 'powerplus engine,no prizes for guessing that it's a big bore V-twin and is the result of two years hard work by the factory's engineers and designers. The official line is 'The Chief line up was created by a passionate team dedicated to returning Indian to it's roots as a technology and performance innovator without sacrificing any of the marques legendary high style and elegance'.
The full line op of Chief derivatives are Chief 'Standard',
'Deluxe', 'Roadmaster' and Vintage.
Each model has its own unique style and features a closed loop EFI system, 6 speed transmission, Brembo braking system, internal fuel pump and state of the art engine management system.
Apparently orders for the above close May 31st.
