Friday
There’s been another spate of bike thefts in the motorcycle parking bay outside my workplace. My security team witnessed some delightful, law abiding, upstanding members of the community in a white van with Southern Ireland plates loading bikes into it. Just taking what they liked, cos they want to and they can.
That’s now 8 stolen that I know of. (And now Westminster Council want to charge us £1.50 a day for the privilege; they ain’t making it any more secure, just more expensive).
Police were called out and had a look at our CCTV footage and being full of indignant rage, I poked my head round the door.
"It’s probably part of the same bunch that stole mine – PC whatshisname from Walworth has got someone for that."
Bored copper – "Well, I don’t know him."
"I didn’t say you did, but it’s probably related and might be worth looking into."
He just looked at me.
Mentioned it to my boys from Walworth and they were most keen – top notch those lads.
In the mean time, I have been flyer-ing the bikes in the motorbike bays warning them of the bike thefts, so if you received one it was from me and be assured I’m not completely bonkers.

Tuesday
Bit of bother trying to get into the garage entrance at work first thing. Normally I have my swipe access at the ready but today I left it in the mayhem that is my rucksack.
Ended up having to get off my bike and have a good rummage for it. Found it, opened the door and parked downstairs.
Big deal says you.
And it is.
Usually Security would open the door for me but today there was some consternation in the control room as they weren’t sure who it was.
Big argument broke out between them with only one standing up for me saying, "It is her, I’m telling you it is. Look at the helmet."
"Yeah, but that’s not her bike."
"No – her last one was stolen… that’s her NEW bike!"
Oh yes…
Can you guess what it is yet?

Saturday
Have just picked up my mTrack® tracking device for my beautiful, stunning, immaculate, gorgeous black R6.
Got to admit, paint it black and anything can look well tasty.
You honestly didn’t think I would be adventurous and get something else did you?
(Dealer: "Yes, I’ve still got it, but you might not like it, might not be right for you. It’s been lowered").
Almost bit his hand off.
I’m not going to risk having anything happen to this baby, so it has everything! Big thank you to the chaps at mTrack.
I haven’t tested it yet, but if the 3 phone calls to my mobile when I was tinkering with it are anything to go by, it’s looking good.
(I managed to set it off because I hadn’t read the instructions. They were ringing me instantly but cos I didn’t recognise the number, I didn’t answer. Took a call from John Newman to tell me to quit dicking around with it because they were convinced my bike was getting nicked LOL)
Impressive stuff.
So, next month someone will ermm… hide my bike and mTrack will be asked to find it… not worried in the slightest… no… not me… not at all.
…Much.
