Freebie Sat Nav for beemer buyers - (11/09/2008)

BMW is giving away a free Zumo sat-nav system with every Boxer R1200RT tourer purchased before December 17th.

The top-of-the-range Boxer-engined tourer is already regarded as one of the best in its class - touring motorcycles and the addition of the new sat nav system , (designed specifically for bike use), is the icing on the cake.

The Zumo system, developed in partnership with BMW and Garmin, communicates with the bike to work out the amount of fuel remaining and apparently even suggests nearby petrol stations.

Another neat feature is its ability to connect wirelessly using Bluetooth technology to provide in-helmet communication between rider and passenger – it even boasts a built-in MP3 player.

The waterproof and shock proof Zumo can be connected to the net to download all the latest Google maps and comes complete with full European mapping.

The BMW R1200RT costs £10,895 and the Zumo system usually costs £495. More information from your local BMW dealer.
