i bought my hornet 5 days ago now.
whilst riding a have a big cheshire cat grin on my face, this is an incredibele machine and honda deserve alot of credit for it.
strong torquey acceleration not yet felt full potential as im still running it in. handles like a dream and makes the rider feel very confident.
all in all this is a superior bike.
as well as an amazing bike the service i received form tippetts of tolworth was second to none and definetley better than other dealerships i had entered.
thank you honda and the tippetts team.

This is the best bike I've ever had. It is low and light, but is also fast, reliable and cheap to insure. I have had this bike since 2003 and it has never broken down or let me down. Just when I think I know the bike it surprises me, gets me out of sticky situations I have put it in, it is so forgiving and still gives more.
I take it over to the Isle of Man, and it doesn't matter how much I open the throttle, it still wants to go faster. I never want to change this bike.

My Honda Hornet is a factory faired version and has no mods other than crash bungs and flip screen. It gives me around 40mpg most of the time you can get it up to 45mpg on a steady run and thrashed only 35mpg at best. Seems quite pokey and has plenty of mid range. Although it's not a sports type machine it does give a respectable thrill to ride but unlike sprots bikes without the need fr a leg stretch every twenty minutes. This bike is very reliable and running / service costs are low.
Worth while considering for commuter or first time bike. Mine is to be passed to my partner soon and I am considering the new model Hornet or a 900.

This Bike is good for anyone, it has a low seat height, not over heavy, very manoverable and easy to ride, these bikes are everywhere and for good reason.

It is a Naked bike with a good upright seating position, very reliable (as it is a CBR600 engine re-tuned for city riding), it also has good economy and perfomance for a 600. MPG is about 40+. Good for going anywhere (you can get bashed about a bit on the motorways by the wind) but with a fly screen makes it a bit easier. Hornet's are also very easy to work on too.

Actually I can say this is the best bike I have owned, and I have had 2 so far, and wont be my last..

Bought a faired Hornet 600 from new. Absolutely fantastic bike - just love it. Have ridden all day with no numb bum or aching legs. It can pootle along through traffic or scream along the motorway - the fairing really helps here. Always starts, easy to ride, great round corners and it looks cool too. Always well behaved unless you encourage it not to be! And it always starts. As a first bike after Direct Access it can't be beaten.

Had this bike over 2 years now. My mate has had a 95 CBR600 and a 98 Gixer 6. No bull these Hornets can keep up easy. I even surprised my dad on his Firestorm with it. Easy to ride fast or slow, I have had 155 on the speedo. I usually get between 90 and 120 miles until reserve, I have had however 135. Just nearly bought a Cagiva Raptor thousand but read some really dodgy reviews. I am now ready for a change to a bigger bike but the problem is I want somethin that is as good as the hornet as built low maintenance etc and fun with a F. I think the hornet will take some beating

The hornet does have hooks for luggage.. Take off the seat and pull them out. Put seat back and bingo, hooks for luggage.
