Got this NC30 in June 2002 and I absolutely love it. It is tuned to 64bhp and has a carbon Blue flame exhaust with performance pipes. Thinking about getting it sprayed in new repsol colours, or just leave it the way it is, and have the wheels powder coated in red. I've had 135mph out of it, and it doesn't take long to get there. Engine sounds amazing for an 8 year old bike, especially with the blue flame end can, it gives it a bit more of a grunty sound, bit louder too.

Just got my NC30 a few days ago. It has a Repsol paint job which looks excellent. The only riding I have done on it has been illegal, so I havn't ridden it hardly at all. I'm still only on a CBT! Had a Cagiva Mito before. It is an excellent bike. Lots of torque just between about 2,500 - 4,000rpm. Overtaking cars is so easy! 60mph in first gear, but you don't really wanna open it up 'til your in about 3rd gear. I think a nice aftermarket can will definitely add to the sound of the bike as it is a bit quiet at the moment with the original exhaust. Dyno charts reveal that the bike is putting out just over 60bhp at the rear wheel. I havn't tried the top speed cos the roads arn't fast enough where I live. I think it is around 130mph, although someone I know said they had 145mph out of theirs. Anyway excellent bike and from what I've heard, very reliable apart from the rectifier.

The colours for starters are wicked! They are completely bulletproof. Sound bike all round and a fantastic single swingarm.

Keep the bike setup right (i.e tyre pressures) & it's a superb toy to chase the big boys thru the twisties. Can be bit flighty on the front when pushing it & now BT39's have been discontinued it's difficult to find sticky tryes.

Bought a 1990 NC30 recently and have noticed the engine oil pressure light on at tick over. Have checked the oil pump and the suction screen etc, has anybody had any experience of this type of problem? help appreciated....!

I am from South Africa and at present racing a RVF/VFR 400 - RFV gearbox and casings, VFR heads, combo of cams, RFV carbs, RFV frame, VFR forks. RVF rear rim, NSR250 3inch front rim, Standard RFV ignition, I use Pirelli (dragon race) tyres 110 front 160 rear this combo helps the bike to turn faster. No gas flowing of the head as this only makes you lose torque I tried. Head has been skimmed (we had to make new cam gears for this) and the point of telling you this is this bike rules I am currently 67 points in the lead of our powersport championship with 5 rounds gone and 5 to go. The class consists of all road going 400cc four strokes and all 250cc two strokes the only thing I can complain about is my bike is a bit down on top end but handles and comes out of corners beter than anything else out there. The bike has got 69HP and 43NM at 1000 meters above sea level on a original dyno jet dyno

Can anyone tell me how the damping and preload are adjusted for both the forks and rear suspension? Where are the adjusters and how do they work? Thanks.
