I've had mine for about 7 months and it's been broken for the past couple of weeks. I'm in the process of a new big and small end, rebore, new piston and a new clutch. It was completely standard when I got it and did 40 down a big hill. I still dont know exactly how its restricted, mechanic mate seems to think the carbs way too small (a little wider than a drinking straw!). It should be fixed soon any way n I'm looking forward to riding it again, handles ok, pulls crap but so do restricted RS50's, well so do all 50s really! I'd say only get a 50 to pass the time till you can get a 125, trust me ride a de-restricted RG125 or similar and you'll know what I mean! Overall the AR is ok for getting around on little roads, nothing compared to the newer 50s, GPR's are well nippy! 60 was a piece of piss for me on my mates (ben bostrum colours with a full race pipe) n I weigh 16 stone.

I love me little bike!!! it handles great and pulls well...up to 42!!!! How do I make it go faster?? I have spent a lot of money rebuilding my bike and hope I can increase speed to help me enjoy it more. If anyone can help plz email me!!!

Hi, I own a C9 AR50 and have spent the last 2 months stripping down and painting. In the mean time, I have ordered about 300 quids worth of stuff from around the globe to make it go faster, Nikone do a top dollar race exhause for the AR, buy a 20mm carb and sprocket kit, replica fairings do race seats and belly pans for the bike and I even orders dual stage reeds from Boyesen in America, I have more parts comming from the Netherlands. Also email companys like Dunlop and ask for sticker sets, thanks to them, ap racing and locktite my bike looks the dogs!

It's a great bike! but I've only had it 5 months an I'm on my 8th piston. I have got an Autisa 93cc barrel and piston, had sports reed valve with speed reeds, Gianelli sports exhaust and it tops of at 70+

Wot can I say, it's gr8 and I love it to bits. Thing is it still only does 40 down hill!! Oh well I'll sort that with an AR80 cdi, and a sprocket set, but 4 now, I need a new Kickstart, coz mines got a crap cheap part that was on when I bought the bike. Does any1 have a spare they could sell me? I need a real part so it kicks properly!! e-mail me if u do!!

If u want to know how to de-restrict your AR50 dont listen to all the prats on the internet who dont know what they are on about. First replace the exhaust not with a micron cos it makes no difference at all. Get a proper racing exhaust. Then advance the ignition timing 4-5mm cos it has been retarded. Buy a racing cdi and a hi flow reed block and reeds. Also you should put a 15 tooth front sprocket on it. Mine has all this and tops out at 65mph.

Hey ya, I agree wit code red, it is sweet to find a page wit guys who lurv their bikes as much as me, I got an AR50 that does bout 45-50mph, its got a k&N filter and micron exhasut, wot else can I do to it? cld sumone give me sum info bout BDK??? cheerz guys!
