Returned to biking after 20 years when I bought a GSX600F Dyno'd and equipped with a Micron 'cause it was cheap. Was extremely suprised to find out it kicks ass. Front end was too loose so I had it re done and set up with a different viscosity oil in it. Now see if you can out handle me.

This is my first bike after passing my test. It's great. Styling is a little unusual and I have had some derogatory comments about the rear end but it's really a matter of taste. I'm a big lad (6'5" and 17Stone) but it certainly is comfortable. 16Valve engine is sweet and permits smooth throttle respinse. Instrumentation is clear and riding position is generally comfortable. I haven't tortured her too much yet, I have mamaged to do 60mph in first before changing up a gear but not taken her over 80mph yet. I can heartly recommend this bike. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear from you.

Bike feels great. put lots of aftermarket parts on. good performance level. Rides better then the yzf600r. going to Italy and germany this summer taking the Katana with me.

This is my 14th bike and is certainly not the worst. Insurance is cheap and the bike is fast enough. Good power delivery and economy (60mpg). Handling is predictable - just don't expect R6 antics. Fairing is handy weather protection despite its screen height. Junk the original exhaust and fit nexus. Deserves more cred.
