My Bandit has a serious problem with the high rpm area, making the engine stops its two cylinders in random time. Friends told me to sell it, but... I cant do that. I love that bike, I cant even exchange it with some 1000cc motor. That style, that black wild color, the naked freedom all in one package.

I've been riding bikes since 1972. This is one of the best in my opinion. I bought the revised 'MK2' naked Bandit which is superior in every respect to the previous model. At motorway speeds I get 60mpg. The engine has plenty of power across the range, I only need to change down occasionally to overtake slower vehicles on minor roads usually top gear is sufficient. Handling and comfort are excellent but I would prefer the brakes to be a bit sharper especially at the rear. For the money I paid (bike was 6 months old with 500 miles on) I saved about a

Only had the bike a week but this thing is just so confidence inspiring! Is restricted at the mo and so only does 115 mph, It so wants to keep going! Its Dark Green and has a shitty aftermarket fairing thats just about to go. Naked rules! Jack up kit and braided hoses are on my list.

Thought I was on a loser getting the Bandit after a 600 sports bike. But so far my life with bandit has been kind. the ride's getting soft, exhaust still in 1 piece bodywork very good, although the seat's ripping where it touches the tank. Mods so far fly screen

I love this bike. Had a B6 for 3 years. Great for learning, but not enough power, especially with pillion. Have had this one since August 01. First service last week was not too impressive. You are better off doing it yourself. Going to Scotland for 1 week tour in June. I have a tank bag & Scottoiler. I would like top case, but they are pretty expensive.

after ditching my light weight commuter this bike isn't too bad stationary. Once up and rolling you can be steady eddie or mad max on it, power delivery is smooth and while not begging to be ranted (two strokes) it can be surprisingly swift with very little effort. Great bike that holds its value and will still look good in years to come

Longest ride so far has been 500 miles in one day! Yes, my arse is made of steel. The 400 Bandit is a superb bike.
