Suzuki AN Burgman 400cc Sept '00 (X)
Overall Rating:
Review
Had my scoot from new its a 2000 model carb use to stick but red x sorted that, well what can a say, I have many bikes rangeing from 1000cc to 125cc some british, italian, german, japanese, swiss, and even chinease. But i must say i do prefer the burgman i ride very hard tyres do not last more than 6,000 miles and have found the bridgemans best cornering realy good my side walls wear evenly but tend to feather at about 5,000 center stand not high enough and near side caseings tend to ground standard exhaust must have been designed for a tank made my own from yam td 850 off side silencer a stainless a bracket. Treat the gearbox and engine oils to syn 100% + activate, never let anybody service my bikes, the battery is to small and requires all its amps to get my burgy going never been a good starter just carry a set of jump leads. my little joy is having a face lift some tasty vinyl graphics, and off to monte and italy later with a different look, by the way my engine is fine dont top up oil very often and change it every 3,000 happy motoring

I,m gonna keep this bike. At 46 years of age and many different machines owned, this bike is the B-road tourer king. Think Bonneville with a shaft drive/V-strom without fairing and theres the the feel in a nut shell. Minor adjustments have benefitted this bike from factory standard first and formost is proggressive springs for the front forks, second the tyres bridgestone 20/21's and better still Avon azura/storm st's (the dogs danglies). 3rd I changed the bars to motorcross type with a 4inch rise that was prblem free in using original cables plus enexpectedly still felt reasonable with motorway speeds. Because  of its decent chug it commonly give me around 58mpg due to being good with bottom gear at low revs.  There is for sure faster, better handling machines out there but if you don't want to be totally consumed and road focused by your ride alone and do want to percieve the world around you then I strongly recommend considering this simple, easy and reliable machine.   The VX800 is kind of rare and kind of different but relates in parts to the better known, more common Intruder VS800. Because of this I've yet to have difficulty in seeking bits. So if you like the idea of a time improved 21st century Norton Commando ride, I believe this is likely to be it.

Suzuki VL Intruder 125cc Sept '03 (53)
Overall Rating:
Review
This bike is similar to the Suzuki Marauder, but with a V twin, looks more authentic as a cruiser.
Although only a 125, this bike feels and looks bigger. The V twin gives helps at lower revs. I have owned mine for nearly a year, and never have any problems. The bike is quick enough for everyday riding, but hills and head winds can be a problem when cruising in 5th. Having said that, it will cruise comfortably at 70mph.
It is easy to ride and I used it to pass my test on. The only downside I have noticed is the bike doesn't like it on very cold mornings, but when its that cold you would be better off not biking!

Suzuki VL Intruder 125cc Sept '01 (51)

had a yamaha xvs 125 and drove my brothers old honda, the suzuki intruder 125 is a great bike. I can get 65 to 70 on the a2 with comfort and have even sent it to 76mph (down hill) I go over shooters hill evrey day which is as steep as it gets and plods up quite nicley. Parts are cheap and easy to get hold off, and the chrome is very good quality, am modifying mine as for the london commute you dont need any thing bigger. the only down side is it does not like the revs dropping to low. Buy one you wont regret it.

Suzuki GSR 600cc Apr '06 (06)
Overall Rating:
Review
Bought a naked Suzuki GSR 600. Its low seating and lightness makes it an absolutely fantastic bike just love it. Have ridden all day with no numb bum or aching legs. It can filter through traffic with ease or scream along the motorway, but a fly screen would be an advantage. Its easy to ride, great round corners and it looks cool too with its underseat exhausts and stunning looks. Always well behaved unless you encourage it not to be! The only downfall is the snappy throttle due to the fuel injection system, but once you get used to it, it is a pleasure to ride. It is a ideal bike for any rider.

Suzuki GN 125cc 95/96 (N)

I have a 1996 GN125 and what a bike. It is very reliable and is a comfortable bike to ride. Ok, its not the fastest bike but it will do 70mph. I went to Wales and back the other weekend 65/70mph all the way and didn't even cost me a fiver. This is my first proper road bike as I am only 17 and what a first bike. Overall it is a brilliant bike and I would recommend it to anyone.
