The best thing about my Kawasaki ZRX1200R? The fact that it’s coming up 10 years old now and the ride is still as smooth as ever. If you’re going slow, it’ll stroll along nicely, without a pop or a wobble in sight. But this by no means that it can’t handle power when you want to ramp the speed up. Brace yourself to go fast, and the next thing you know, you’re flying along and the ride is a smooth as it was when you were toodling. Combine this with the brakes and expert handling, and you’ll feel like a proper biker in no time.
In terms of bad points, I guess comfort is a little bit wanting. After a long ride, the seat, despite its big size, can leave your hum a bit stiff and achey. Apart from that, it’s really quite a heavy bike too. But then these are all minor things, easily outbalanced by the Kawasaki ZRX1200R’s sheer power and controllability. I’ve not fallen out of love with it yet – and I don’t know if I ever will.
