This is an outstanding example of an ideal off road motorcycle that is in its element when green lanning but at the same time is more than capable of competing in enduros.
With its robust, faultless 2500cc 2 stoke engine it struggles to frustrate its owner. The CRM could well be described along side a world war 2 tank. Its unbreakable framework and sturdy good quality parts means it can withstand most terains.
When entering into the powerband, the 2 stoke engine will automatically fix a grin to its riders face!
Not only is the engine easily accessable but a pleasure to work on with its simple construction. The overall bike is simple to maintain, with a quick release side panel to access the air filter. Its seperate 2 stroke oil feed through the framework means no need for mixing up in petrol cans. It is beneficial to change the rubber sight tube on the side to clear continually reminding you when to top up.
Its decent size petrol tank means you can get miles of riding inbetween your fuel stops.
Unless competing the standard set up is more than sufficient for its general use. Alternatively its sprockets can be altered allowing for different riding requirements.
If purchasing the motorcycle be aware that when imported it has been registered in the UK. All parts can be purchased from leisure trail: 01159732466 a reputable, honest, friendly and reliable company.
As well as its off road capabilities its perforance is also suitable for road riding.

The CRM250 is a novel bike, it looks purely off road but does deliver good performance on the tarmac as well. I was very suprised how much more there is to biking with an off roader, I also own an RVF 400 and I often choose the CRM to ride. You should try it !

Review

The best bike I've owned. Pulls 160km/h with stock gearing, and can be used off road. Autolube oil injection uses very little oil and is economical on fuel.
