One of my favourite bikes out of th 20 plus machines I have owned! Bought for £600 2 years ago, mine was a Jap import, km speedo, little red light that came on at 50-55mph.(took the bulb out!)A great bike to ride, kickstart only but easy to start with manual decompressor retro fitted. Light, slim tourquey, great town bike, high build quality. Very good handling down b roads, even took it on gentle green lanes. Could be a bit vibey, numb wrists on longer rides, little bit rattly, but never let me down. I part exchanged it for a scooter, in a fit of pique, as the neutral light had stopped working, and I tried to start it in gear after stalling at a set of lights, dropped the blighter on my ankle!! Actually miss it as had bags of character. Fuel consumption was a bit disappointing for a single, but then it was rather old, and I did ride it quite hard. Overall probably one of the best brit bkes the Japanese have ever made. The Goldstar experience with added value and practicality.
